Damn those Swift Boat Veterans

Ok… take a look at this page: http://humaneventsonline.com.edgesuite.net/unfit_pdf.html
Seems Kerry does not like the Swift Boat Veterans talking bad about his service in Vietnam. Kerry’s response to them… they are claiming to have served under him and none of them did. Well Kerry, not of them said they served under you. They were all swift boat commanders who served with you. Do you think the American public is stupid? Oh wait, you’re a democrat aren’t you.

For those of you who don’t know, the people doing the ads are the ones in the photograph that Kerry has been using in his campaign to show his Swift Boat Service in Vietnam. See the following website for more information: http://www.swiftvets.com/

Hiya John. I'm cruising the conservative blogs trying to find some thoughts on some of President Bush's decidedly unconservative policies (deficit spending, big government, etc.), and I stumbled across your entry. The Swift Boat advertisement is a lot like Fahrenheit 9/11 - some facts, some distortion, some baseless assertions meant to slander the target. It's sad really.

There are plenty of policy differences between the two candidates. I don't know why we're not talking more about them.

Anyway. I appreciate good conversation as much as the next guy, and I'm glad you get to do what you do here.

BTW - Kerry playing that guitar in the funny hat was painful for many liberal voters. But who the hell else are we going to vote for?

Happy politicking

Gotta disagree – Fahrenheit 911 was one man’s biased opinion. The Swift Boat Vets are a large group of people who also served on Swift Boats in Vietnam at the same time as Kerry. As they put it, served “with” him. Many of them at the Command level. This is nothing like Moore’s movie. In addition, there is plenty of debate out there and here on Kerry’s positions. He is liberal to the extreme and caters to special interests.
