Those are some very nice pistols John. It's too bad it's basically impossible to own one in this controlled country (Canada) of mine.

But I know of some that have guns in Canada. Barrel has to be 4" or longer or something of that sort. I can put you in touch with someone if you like.

Nice collection. Any plans for a long gun? How's the Walther .22 working out?

The walther is a good little plinker, I like it. As to the long guns, I enjoy waterfowl hunting so I have a few shotguns, but no rifles at this time.

I have one of the Beretta semiautomatic pistol, Model 92F, 9mm Luger caliber, slide engraved in gold "North Carolina Highway Patrol 60th Anniversary 1929-1989," serial numbers NCHPC 0001 through NCHPC 1313 inclusive.

Any idea what it is worth?

My guess is that this is an EL with blued slide instead of the standard Bruniton (Black Teflon material). You might note that it is only 92 that is listed as a Curio and Relic by the BATF. See:

http://www.beretta-e.org/index.php/Beretta_Curios_and_Relics

My guess (and this is but a guess) is around $1000.00 if it has never been fired. If it has been fired, then that will lower value somewhat.

You should go over to http://www.berettaforum.net and ask or Contact Brad Taylor at http://www.berettacollection.com Brad might make you an offer on it.

Thanks for posting, I have been updating this in a while due to the spam it generate :(

John
